Frizzled + Smooth Olive/Easter Eggers

Easter and Olive Eggers are basically a mixed breed chicken that was hatched from a colored egg. They come in many different colors. Pictured is mainly the frizzled style but they some in smooth in all different colors as well. I strive for offspring that lay colored eggs, anywhere from bright blue to greens. Occasionally, they will lay a cream or pinkish color, but this is rare.

These are calm, friendly birds if handled young.

Great layers all year long and tend to go broody.

All chicks will have a 50% chance of frizzling, which causes curly soft feathers. I always breed smooth x frizzle, because breeding a frizzled bird to another frizzle will cause some chicks to be "frazzles," birds that will suffer from brittle feathers.
